Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science

The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science is the region's premier cultural, educational, and entertainment center located in downtown Sioux Falls. The Washington Pavilion includes the Kirby Science Discovery Center, Wells Fargo CineDome Theater, Husby Performing Arts Center, Visual Arts Center, Leonardo's Cafe and Discovery Store.

The Husby Performing Arts Center features a 1,800-seat Great Hall, intimate Belbas Theater and rehearsal rooms. The Great Hall offers a wide variety of touring Broadway productions, symphonic and other musical concerts, national and international dance tours and more.

The Kirby Science Discovery Center features more than 80 exciting hands-on exhibits for all ages, as well as live science demonstrations. Fly the space shuttle, dig up a dinosaur, explore the Imagination Studio, meet "Stan," our Tyrannosaurus and touch a tornado.

The Visual Arts Center brings the visual arts to children and adults through exhibitions, education and collections. Six art galleries feature changing exhibits, and the Children's Studio lets kids explore art through hand -on activities. Most exhibits are free!

Wells Fargo CineDome Theater feature incredibly realistic giant-screen movies. Ride the rapids, dive into oaceans and climb mountaintops. Different films are featured every season.
